Course 1: Stanley Thompson

Designed nearly a century ago, initially by Gilbert E. Ayers in 1923 and completed by Stanley Thomson between 1947 and 1949, course 1 at the Lachute Golf Club is a classic tree line course. Its traditional layout, lined by mature trees, makes it one of the most popular courses among the region’s golfers.

Course 2: Howard Watson

Built in 1959 by Howard Watson, course 2 is laid out more like a championship course. It surrounds course 1, is slightly longer, and is the more difficult of the two courses at the Lachute Golf Club. Course 2 was originally reserved for members of the private club but is now open to the public.

The two courses were developed on 400 acres of land.
